Deception on the dancefloor.

Saturday night a few girlfriends and I went out. One of them met a guy she liked. He was in his mid thirties, tall, good body and a great dancer. When it was after midnight, my friend and he left and disappeared into the night. It was pretty clear what they were going to do after making out in the club.
On Sunday afternoon I called her to get the gossip and instead of hearing what I was hoping for, unreal sex, and multiple orgasms, I was told he was completely useless in bed.
This made me think and remember a few of my own “mistakes” over the years. It appears that we as human beings are drawn to what we find to be the best looking person in a place, but that person does not have to be the best lover. I remember several times, years ago, when I would go home with someone to discover that his idea of good sex was to stick it in, and thrust a few times and then go to sleep, talking about false advertisement.
Someone once told me to look for how a man dances. Why, I asked? His dancing style will tell you how he makes love. Bullshit!
So, how does one know? There is no sure way to know. One can only hope and guess.  I think that men, and women, who advertise themselves as sexy, hot, etc. Don’t usually make the best lover. I like the normal guy, he who hangs quietly at the bar.
Some male friends of mine have had the same experience. They would pick up the sexiest girl they could see; only to find themselves in the bed with a “dead fish”, like they call it. She just lies there, hoping her good looks will make her a fantastic lover.
Life is hard enough being single, and when you finally meet someone, and he or she turns out to suck in bed, wow, that’s just plain wrong.
